SO DISAPPOINTED 😟. I've been eating here for years and I got their Lobster Roll Platter yesterday and spent $26 to throw away the French fries and 1/2 of the Lobster Roll. The fries were greasy and soggy, not one crunchy or crisp. The worse part was the lobster roll was so SALTY 😝. As if it was cooked in salt water. The only reason I threw away 1/2 of it was because I let 2 other people take a bite to let me know if I as out of my mind..... As I suspected, ALL AGREED! What happened Captain?? 🤨

Captain Seas is an amazing restaurant! Superb food, reasonable prices, very friendly staff and a nice atmosphere! The best seafood place in Wallingford, and one of the best I've had period. I would recommend that everyone give it a try.

Service was friendly and quick. The place is clean. The food is amazing. Everything I had was delicious. Fries were fresh and cooked perfectly, lobster roll fresh and so good, cole slaw is very good, clam chowder delicious. I was worried because of mixed reviews but this place is amazing.

Was a little concerned when we pulled into the parking lot... but what a great suprise when dinner was served. Fried clams were awesome, tender and lightly breaded. Lobster Roll full of large chunks of excellent lobster meat.. the way it should be done!

I'd give a minus if I could French fries were warmed uo from being maid earlier were so not even fresh to serve fish was premade thriwn in mircro to heat Mrs Paul's would have been better it was take out or I would have asked for refund

Very cozy resturaunt with very sweet, attentive staff. I ordered the fried clam strip dinner. The clams were very fresh and very good! The fries were fresh not frozen and the Cole slaw was also fresh and good. STAY AWAY from the "lobster" bisque, it is not lobster but imitation crab meat, very gross.

I love Captain C's. I've been eating there for quite a few years now. They have the best clam strips in the area. The place could use a facelift, but the food is top notch. Staff is friendly and will deliver your food table side. Even if you don't care for seafood, they have plenty of other choices Stop in and try their classic foot long hot dog. Brings back many happy childhood memories. Oh, did I mention their homemade fresh squeezed lemonade?? Yum Yum.

The food is pretty okay and the prices are fine, but most of the seafood and combos come fried, with french fries, toast, and the size of two servings. Some of you all may appreciate that, but I feel a little sick eating too much carbs at once. Coleslaw is readily available, but as someone who doesn't like coleslaw my choices are few.

Best quick order fresh seafood around!! We are fussy fish eaters and don't typically like fried versions, being somewhat health conscious. They raised the bar on fried seafood!! Homemade battered and LIGHTLY crusted and fried to tender,( NOT browned or super fried). The coleslaw and potato salad homemade perfectly. My husband had fries that were crisp, not soggy and flavorful. Don't have to drive all the way to our coastal towns to enjoy Connecticut seafood at affordable family prices.

The lobster roll is good and the lady who took our order was friendly. However, the place could use a much needed facelift. It looks a bit rundown - (unclean maybe?) The prices are $$$. You could probably get a lobster roll at a nicer restaurant for the same price.

That place was no joke. The lobster was fresh and delicious. Big generous pieces floating in warm butter. What a happy treat for my mouth. Laurel was a extremely pleasant proprietor. I feel she made this meal even more enjoyable.

Fried clams & shrimp are great!! Nice variety of food for reasonable prices. Noticed a strong following of regular customers- "home spun" atmosphere. The owners are very warm & gracious. My husband and I agreed we found a new seafood spot!!

This place has the trifecta of great. Exellent iced tea, ridiculously good fried whole clams and french fries that are worth the stop by themselves.

First time I have ever had softshell crab. Absolutely the best food I have had. The fried zucchini is freshly made. This restaurant is a must.

I should have spent the actual 15 minutes to drive to westhaven in go to Stowe's this place is terrible

The lobster roll was terrible. Tasted like canned or frozen. Stringy, no chunks of lobster.

Best seafood in town

The food is fresh and amazing! I had the fish and chips which were perfectly coated and my husband had the scallops which were huge. We both loved our meals! The service was wonderful! We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door - super friendly, helpful, and kind. We will definitely go back!

Hit them up on a random Sunday afternoon after a lobster roll craving! Cant say enough about them. Fresh seafood, excellent home made onion rings, and the chowder was spot on! Definitely will go back!!

Soft shell crabs were big, but they were not sweet and delicious. Actually, they were nasty. I was sad 😫 $26 for a double order of nastiness

Great food and great prices! This place looks easy to skip over from the outside but every time I have eaten at Captain Seas, the food is delicious!! The cheeseburger I had the last time was better than the Five Guys burger I had for the first time today. The woman at the counter is so cheery and sweet :-)
